All the steam train Thomas n friends engines on the isle of Sodor railways loves there railroad service but some times there is to much work, that's when the fat controller Thomas the train and the tank engines manager, brings new railway engines to the Island.

Salty the dockyard diesel is in one of these fresh engines that turn up, he loves tell story legends of the old deep blue sea freighter ships and fishing boats, diesel tank engine Salty likes to be useful.

Train Salty loves Brendam docks working with Thomas the train Henry tank engine he gets more work done than three engines and feels really useful and only the trucks know Salty's secret.
