Trusty Rusty the tank engine

Trusty Rusty the tank engine is a small but very brave diesel goods engine painted in the color of orange.

When narrow gauge Skarloey locomotive engine was away, that's when the friend of Thomas the tank engine Rusty the diesel first came to the Sodor railway helping Peter Sam and Sir Handel to do there dedicated worker.
This small orange diesel locomotive train is very self-assured, with a huge heart of gold.

One time he did save the day and help Stepney tank engine escape from the lonely scrap yard siding sheds, in the Thomas and friends Rusty to the rescue story.

Train trusty Rusty the tank engine will always come to the rescue and saves the day on Sodor Island. He is for ever and a day proving a helping hand to all the other railway steam engine's making their lives much easier and more fun.

Trusty Rusty the diesel engine got his name from the makers, Ruston and Hornsby model trains. In 1954 Rusty was first made at Ruston and Hornsby toy railways.
